Fairfield Inn Hosts Record-Breaking "Make Art with the Pieces" Charity Auction, Raising $50,000 for Children

The event showcases artistic creations crafted by individuals and organizations, providing a unique and engaging platform for community members to contribute to a worthy cause.

The evening was a celebration of generosity and community spirit, with guests enthusiastically bidding on a diverse collection of art pieces and experiences. The atmosphere was filled with laughter, camaraderie, and a shared commitment to making a positive impact on the lives of children.

"We are incredibly thankful to our dedicated volunteers, committee members, and guests who made this event such a tremendous success," said executive director, Whitney Roberts. "Their passion and commitment are truly inspiring."

Special thanks were extended to Parkhurst Dining, Fairfield Inn, Keagan Hatton, Frozen De’Lites, and all the businesses and individuals that generously donated items for the auction or sponsored the event. A highlight of the evening was the presentation of the "Champion for Children" awards, recognizing individuals who have gone above and beyond in their dedication to children's welfare. This year's deserving recipients were:

  • Kristen Hamilton, DCS Deputy Chief Counsel for Region 15: Recognized for her unwavering commitment to advocating for children within the legal system.

  • Sara Scroggins, CASA Volunteer: Acknowledged for her tireless work as a Court Appointed Special Advocate, providing support and advocacy for children in the foster care system.

  • The Moose Riders: Celebrated for their ongoing commitment to supporting children's charities and initiatives within the community.

Thanks to the overwhelming support of the community, the 2025 "Make Art with the Pieces" charity auction successfully raised $50,000. This significant sum will go directly towards supporting vital programs and services for children in need, making a tangible difference in their lives.
