On May 11, 2023 CASA of Jefferson County proudly became a member of the Safe Place Program. Joining this National movement means providing access to immediate help and supportive resources for youth in need.

Ten years ago, a man named Daniel Hellmann took a step that would change the lives of countless children in need. He became a CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate) volunteer, embarking on a journey of selflessness, compassion, and unwavering commitment to children's best interests.

Circuit Court Judge DJ Mote swears in four more officers of the court this morning. Beth McRoberts, Leah Cruea, Karlee Sedam, and Josh Mobley completed the 30 hour CASA Volunteer training required by the National GAL/CASA Association.
