Celebrating Service and Impact: CASA of Jefferson County Hosts Annual Volunteer & Staff Appreciation Dinner

The annual Volunteer and Staff Appreciation Dinner, held on September 30, 2025, was an evening dedicated to recognizing, expressing gratitude, and fostering community.

Made possible in part by the generous sponsorship of The White Barn and Chefferguys, the event brought together advocates, staff, and supporters for a night of reflection and celebration.

The evening began with an expansive Year in Review, highlighting the tremendous impact made between September 2024 and September 2025. In that time, the CASA Network collectively invested 10,000 hours connecting with every adult—parents, teachers, principals, and therapists-who influence the lives of the 153 children served. This vital work underscores the unique role of the Court Appointed Special Advocate, who stands as the one person in a child’s life entrusted with understanding, containing, and advocating for their full story.

A highlight of the evening was the recognition of Jacque McDaniel, honored for ten years of exceptional service. Executive Director Whitney Roberts shared heartfelt words, saying,Jacque is such a wonderful person and advocate. She’s always willing to step up and take a case and fill the gap.”

Many other advocates were also recognized for their dedication, with service years ranging from one to twelve. Each honoree’s commitment reflects the heart of CASA’s mission—to ensure every child’s voice is heard and their best interests are upheld.

The night concluded as it began—in gratitude and togetherness. Free from the weight of court reports, meetings, and critical decisions, attendees enjoyed a relaxed evening, a delicious meal, and the company of those who deeply understand the meaning and importance of this work.
