A Gift That Goes Beyond the Gift: Rejuvenation Skin Care Supports CASA
At CASA, we are incredibly fortunate to have community partners who don’t just support our mission once—they continue to show up, year after year, because they believe in the children and volunteers we serve.
One of those special partners is Rejuvenation Skin Care, owned by Jes Hall. Jes and her team have supported CASA for years, and their generosity has become a wonderful reminder that there are so many ways to make a difference. Recently, Rejuvenation Skin Care hosted another small fundraiser for CASA, raising $300. They generously turned those proceeds into a Walmart gift card for our office to use for general supplies.
When Jess and the Rejuvenation Skin Care team host fundraisers for CASA, they are doing more than raising money. They are also helping spread the word about CASA and the important work our volunteers do for children in our community. Many people may not realize what a CASA volunteer does or how much of a difference one person can make in the life of a child. By talking about CASA with her clients and community, Jess is helping bring attention to our mission and helping others understand why this work matters. That awareness can lead to new volunteers, new supporters, and more people who are willing to stand behind children who need someone in their corner.
It may seem like a simple gesture, but gifts like this mean so much. When people think about supporting a nonprofit, they often picture the big things—the programs, the events, the direct services and the visible impact in the community. What isn’t always considered are the everyday needs that keep an organization running and allow our staff and volunteers to focus on what matters most: advocating for children.
A gift like this helps take care of some of those behind-the-scenes needs, and we are genuinely grateful. But what means even more to us is the heart behind Jes’s support. Jes is always reminding us how much she believes in the work our CASA volunteers are doing. She understands that being a CASA volunteer means showing up for a child, listening, advocating, and making sure that child’s voice is heard. She believes in that mission—and she makes sure we know it.
That encouragement is a gift all on its own. Year after year, Jes and the Rejuvenation Skin Care team continue to demonstrate what it means to be a true community partner. Their support tells our volunteers that their work is seen and valued. It tells our staff that our mission has champions in the community. And it reminds us that when a community comes together for its children, every act of kindness matters.
