Local Artist Eric Phagan to Host Immersive Art Show Benefiting CASA and Other Children’s Charities
CASA of Jefferson County is honored to be among the beneficiaries of an upcoming fundraiser led by local artist and educator, Eric Phagan.
This powerful exhibit features a series of original paintings that explore the symbolic fulfillment of Jesus Christ as the bridegroom. While the theme is spiritually inspired, the event is open to all and presented in a way that honors artistic interpretation and personal reflection. Guests will move through a semi-guided tour of the historic Fountain House, where each room tells a piece of the visual story through painting, soft lighting, floral arrangements, and curated wedding gowns. Sounds of chanting and music accompany the journey, while the scent of frankincense evokes a timeless, multisensory atmosphere.
Soft whispers are encouraged to preserve the flow of the experience for all attendees, as guests move from painting to painting throughout the space. At the conclusion of the exhibit, attendees will find an information and bidding table where they can place silent bids on their favorite pieces. Fifty percent of each purchase will be donated to one of three local children’s charities of the buyer’s choosing, including CASA of Jefferson County.
These contributions directly impact CASA’s mission to advocate for children who have experienced abuse or neglect and are navigating the complexities of the court system.
“Eric’s project is a powerful example of how community-centered initiatives can spark meaningful change. Philanthropy isn’t only about financial contributions—it’s about building relationships, fostering engagement, and aligning around a shared purpose. When individuals like Eric use their talents to uplift causes they care about, it inspires others to take action, whether that’s through giving, volunteering, or simply spreading awareness about the needs in our community.”
CASA is incredibly grateful for Eric’s dedication and for using his artistic platform to support the well-being of children in our community. Events like this exemplify how creativity and compassion can come together to make a lasting difference.
The Bridegroom will be at Love Betty Bridal @ The Fountain House in Madison, Indiana, on September 12th and 13th from 5PM to 9PM. Join us for this unforgettable experience and help support our most vulnerable youth!
